În cadrul evenimentului CES din Las Vegas din luna ianuarie, Netgear a lansat noi produse printre care şi HD/Gaming 5GHz Wireless-N Networking - Access Point/Bridge.Acest access point permite conexiunea cu orice router sau gateway existent oferind mai multe canale wireless, conexiuni de calitate mai bună şi interferenţe mai puţine. Notebook-urile dotate cu Wireless-N beneficiază de performanţe wireless îmbunătăţite. Funcţia de Automatic Quality of Service (QoS) asigura prioritizarea traficului de voce, date şi gaming astfel încât toate comenzile simultane sunt finalizate fără erori. Instalarea echipamentului se realizează foarte simplu datorită funcţiilor de plug-and-play şi configurării automate. De asemenea utilizarea opţiunii "Push ´N´ Connect" folosind Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) asigura realizarea cu uşurinţă a unei conexiuni Internet sigure. NOTE: For surfing Internet with ALFA-AWUS050NH on Ubuntu Jaunty with rt2870sta driver, you must use the Kernel "2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu", without change or updates the drivers modules. Packetforge-ng
