Vodafone Romania – o infrastructura a viitorului bazata pe protocol IP

Vodafone Romania se adapteaza din mers la dezvoltarile tehnologice actuale, indreptandu-se catre o infrastructura de retea, care se va axa pe utilizarea protocolului IP.Procesul de transformare va dura pana in aprilie 2008, perioada in care Vodafone Romania va folosi aceeasi infrastructura pentru serviciile 2G, 3G, voce fixa si date fixe. Prin aceasta metoda se va spori eficienta retelei, dar si disponibilitatea acesteia. Huawei Technologies este compania aleasa de catre Vodafone pentru a dezvolta solutia ideala pentru aceasta “migrare” catre tehnologia axata pe utilizarea protolului IP.Vodafone Romania isi consolideaza astfel pozitia de lider pe piata autohtona, cu cei 8.223 milioane de clienti inregistrati la data de 30 iunie a acestui an . Ramane de vazut ce strategie vor adopta rivalii sai, Orange si Cosmote, pentru a da un raspuns pe masura fiabilitatatii si eficientei retelelor Vodafone bazate pe protocol IP. Prin aceasta decizie Vodafone isi arata deschiderea fata de potentialul protocolului IP si intampina cu bratele deschise terminalele anului 2008.

Packetforge-ng
